In “Harf Esem” we are aiming to merge technology and learning entertainment to educate kids with learning Arabic language from knowing the letters up to reading and writing.

In “Harf wa Esem” website , we combine both technology and purposeful  entertainment in order to teach the kids the Arabic language and grow their love towards it, starting from recognition of  the alphabets and pronouncing them correctly up to the mastery of reading and writing skills. Moreover, we aim to develop the kids’ mental abilities through enjoyable and useful games and writing activities which help the kids to learn the basics of Arabic language.

The Arabic language is the tongue of the Arab nation that preserved their heritage and narrated their poems. Furthermore, millions of Muslims throughout the earth worship, read the book of their God, perform their prayers, using the Arabic language. Moreover, they consider its love as a part from their love for their religion and, their Arab Prophet, peace be upon him.

Total number of annual books in Arabs Regions in 2005 are 21,456 books, while Egypt in the lead with 9,022 books yearly.

Unfortunately, it is rumored that the Arab nations do not read. The rates of reading, book printing and trading in the Arab world have witnessed a severe decline in recent decades. According to the cultural development report issued by the “Arab Thought Foundation” and the Human Development report issued by ‘UNESCO’. This may lead to disorder in the relationship of the new generation with reading books published in the Arabic language, which is considered as one of the world's richest languages with varied vocabulary and rhetorical styles. For many successive centuries, the Arabic language has presented a fruitful, distinctive, cultural and creative heritage.

We must learn our language, realize its rhetoric, and develop it to anticipate a bright future for our Arabic language.
